As part of the ONTOPO artist retreat, artist MJ Caselden integrates custom sound-generating sculptures into the Catskill Zendo temple. The installation is an exploration of the zen concept of mindfulness, with Caselden offering a sonic meditation to retreat participants.

The experience features the Sounding Box sculptures, a series of custom electro-acoustic works of art that produce sound and vibration from variations in magnetic fields.
