Process stress and anxiety

Tranquil sounds and deep breathing can help participants recover from the stresses of fast-paced life in the Information Age.

Magnetic Sound’s listening experiences offer a temporary departure from the sensory stimulus of a busy working environment. Participants can reconnect with body and mind, free to rest and reflect.

Our suggested breathwork for “Infinity” employs basic deep breathing exercises utilized widely in contemporary psychology as an approach to stress and anxiety reduction.

Creative thought and Problem-Solving

Our holistic approach to sound + breathwork for relaxation can lead participants into “hypnagogia”, natural states of mind occurring between sleep and wakefulness.

People tend to make creative associations in hypnagogia, which can lead to realizations and innovative problem-solving. Many well-known artists and authors have used ideas and visions from this mental state as inspiration.

Mary Shelley, the author of "Frankenstein", renowned painter Salvador Dali, and inventor Thomas Edison all cited hypnagogia as inspiration for their work.

Persistence of Memory , Salvador Dali, 1971 Dali actively pursued hypnagogia to find inspiration for his paintings.

Deep Rest and sleep

Ambient sound can help facilitate sleep. Some participants will nap within our sound experiences, moving past hypnagogia and into deeper states of rest.
